System Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develops DV test equipments and provides scalable technical solutions that satisfy system requirements
  • Develops functional test procedures for DV testing of electronic and mechatronics components and provides technical solutions according to product specification
  • Performs DV testing, provides the necessary technical documentation, reference samples, and documentation for customers
  • Cooperates on activities associated with sampling and testing of electronics components
  • Cooperation with Sofware engineer and Hardware engineer, to develop test tooling
  • Reports of defects and problems occurred during test processes
  • Analyze and improve test yields
  • Controls and ensure all test equipments are maintained and calibrated
  • Releases design and development documents
  • Comply with the Kiekert’s and the customer’s quality policy and quality management system
  • Responsible for safety, environment and occupational health management related matters of the position and in the work area
  • Kiekert delegates the necessary duties to prevent health risks, occupational injury, environmental and safety risks to the incumbent in his/her area of responsibility

Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor, Diploma or master’s in computer science, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
  • Excellent engineering background with focus on ECU DV testing using CANoe VtestStudio or similar
  • Excellent knowledge on SW development for automatic DV testing with focus on actuator and sensors
  • Familiar with at least one programming language, such as C programming language or similar (Labview or CAPL)
  • Familiar with mechatronics system design, integration, testing and troubleshooting
  • Experience with equipments, and Vector VT system, familiar with automotive design processes, and automotive SPICE
  • Experience with LIN, CAN, SPI, I2C, and UDS applications
  • Ability to work independently as a team member in a multi-cultural team
  • Good analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in English
