Lead Engineer (m/f/d)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively coordinate the cooperation of individual development divisions in order to achieve project goals (costs, quality, timing) using appropriate communication tools (monitoring the status of tasks, team meetings, project review, Launch Readiness Review)
- Represent Kiekert before customers, suppliers and other business partners, cooperate and negotiate with these partners
- Organize risk analysis (eg FMEA, Functional Safety)
- Coordinate design status and ensure effective use of development teams
- Oversee compliance with Customer’s and Kiekert’s processes and standards
- Supervise CAD + SAP BOM
- Responsible for coordinating development tools (eg DVP & R, DSP & R, DQD, Product Maturity Level)
- Coordinate and approve resources for individual development activities within the project
- Act in accordance with Kiekert and the customer’s quality policy and quality management system
Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor degree or above
- major in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. Master is plus
- 3 years in the automotive industry related to the Kiekert production program
- Fluent English in reading, writing and speaking
- good knowledge of working on MS Office PC – Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- technical background
- knowledge of engineering methods and processes
- extended matrix leadership skills, moderation skills, ability to prioritize
- Communication skills, ability to negotiate
- organizational, planning and presentation skills
- communicative knowledge of another foreign language is an advantage
