Kiekert Regional Concept Change of Governance for Americas, Europe, China

Accordingly, I’m glad to announce the change of the company’s governance structure implementing a Regional Concept.  The purpose is to deliver local adapted solutions for each market ensuring a timely local dedicated customer service leveraging our local teams, production plants and engineering centers in each region namely Americas, Europe, China, South-Korea, and Japan.” said Jérôme Debreu, Chairman & CEO.

Kiekert Group changes its governance: previously Vice President Asia, Karl Lambertz becomes Vice President Europe. Previously General Manager Kiekert US, Mike Hietbrink is promoted Vice President Americas. Peter Wang is appointed Managing Director China.

Karl, Mike and Peter will be Associate Members of Kiekert Group Executive Committee.

Karl Lambertz (60)
Vice President Europe

In this function, Karl Lambertz will drive the automation and expansion of Kiekert historical plant in Heiligenhaus – Germany. As part of the Regional Concept for Europe, Karl is appointed Managing Director of Kiekert Czech Republic including the plant facility in Přelouč as well as the Tech Center in Čivice with clear aim to facilitate teamwork cross locations and functions. Karl is holding a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Cologne University and has been working for Kiekert for the last 24 years. Karl is married with two children.


Mike Hietbrink (48)
Vice President Americas

Mike Hietbrink is promoted Vice President Americas in addition to the function of Managing Director Kiekert US. He will thus assume responsibility for the market and business development for the entire Americas region. He will in particular focus on expanding sales with existing and new customers in the region. Mike will supervise plants and Tech Centers in Americas including the plant in Mexico. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University (GMI) along with a Master in Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University and has been working for Kiekert for the last 24 years. Mike is married with two children.


Peter Wang (60)
Managing Director Kiekert China

Peter Wang takes over the role of Managing Director for Kiekert China responsible for both the Plant and the Tech Center. Peter will be based in Changshu succeeding to Karl Lambertz. He has extensive management experience in both the automotive and other industries.  Peter holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering from the North-western Polytechnical University (NPU) with a major in Aero Engine Control Engineering. Peter is married with one child.
