Heiligenhaus, 07. October 2021
Since Jérôme Debreu was appointed CEO of Kiekert in July of this year, there have been several far-reaching changes at the management level of this global automotive supplier. As a result of Debreu’s appointment, Kiekert – a company with a long tradition of high-quality engineering based in Heiligenhaus, Germany – parted company immediately with its former CEO and three members of the management team. “I made these imperative personnel decisions in order to implement a clear and noticeable change of course, and they are an essential part of the reorganization,” says Debreu.
Debreu, a native of France, has undertaken a major restructuring of the Executive Committee, which now consists of five persons and covers all areas of the company globally. “It was important to me to break down organizational silos and rely on experienced and reliable leaders and team players at the helm of the company. Especially in the current tense phase of our industry, a reliable team that acts quickly, precisely and competently is invaluable,” he continues.
The Executive Committee now consists of:
Dr. Carsten Brinkmeier, Executive Vice President Purchasing & Global Director Human Resources: Brinkmeier has been on board since July 2021. He possesses 32 years of experience in management positions in various industries and countries with a focus on turnaround management.
Jan Henrik Mönnekemeyer, Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing:
Mönnekemeyer joined Kiekert in January 2020. He has 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and has held various executive positions in sales and marketing at global suppliers in Germany and abroad (including a seven-year stint in China), during which time he has undertaken various restructuring projects. Besides profitable growth and customer management, the professionalization of sales is his specialty.
Chloe Lee, Executive Vice President Corporate Finance & Controlling:
Lee joined the Kiekert management team in July 2019. She has more than 20 years of experience in the global finance industry and has worked in China, the UK and France, among other countries. Her particular expertise lies in Mergers & Acquisitions.
Dr. Klaus Hense, Executive Vice President Product Creation:
Hense is responsible for Research & Development and has held various management positions in Development and Quality at Kiekert since 2012 with only a brief interruption. His focus is on growth through innovation.
Philip Scott, Executive Vice President Production Operations, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering:
Scott was appointed EVP in July 2021. He joined Kiekert in January 2020 as Director Global Quality. He has 28 years of experience in the automotive industry with stints in China, Europe, India and the Americas.
“With this quintet, we are implementing long-term strategies to drive the profitable growth of Kiekert AG and double sales. I look forward immensely to the work ahead of my management team and myself,” concludes Debreu.
